LCWD Receives $826 Thousand Grant for Water Supply Reliability Project

Linda County Water District’s water supply reliability project received grant funding from the Department of Water Resources. The grant was made possible through the District's engagement with the Yuba Integrated Regional Water Management Planning Group.
The principal goal of the Project is to provide operational flexibility to improve system reliability, reduce water losses, increase conservation, and improve accuracy of water loss tracking. Work includes installation of advanced metering infrastructure at all meter connections and upgrades to existing treatment plant controls through the replacement of aging software and hardware.
