Unclaimed Funds for Fiscal Year 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, pursuant to California Government Code Sections 50050, 50051, the Linda County Water District ("District") is holding unclaimed funds that have remained unclaimed and will become property of the District if not claimed by the rightful owners.
These unclaimed funds have been held (in the District General Fund) by the District for a period of over three (3) years and will become the property of the Linda County Water District on October 31st, 2025, a date not less than forty-five (45) days after the first publication of this Notice.
A list of the unclaimed funds, including the names of reported owners, and the amounts involved, is available for public inspection at the District's office located at 1280 Scales Ave., Marysville, CA during regular business hours, Monday 9-5 and Tuesday through Friday 8:30-5. The list is also available on the District's official website at lindawater.com
TO CLAIM YOUR PROPERTY: Any person claiming a legal or beneficial interest in any of the reported funds must present proof substantiating the claim to establish a right to receive the unclaimed funds no later than October 31st, 2025.
Claims must be submitted in writing to the District and include:
- The claimant’s name, address and telephone number
- Proof of identity, such as a driver’s license, state ID, social security card, or birth certificate
- Social security number or other federal tax identification number; Any other documentation necessary to support your claim (e.g., power of attorney, probate documents, etc.)
- A statement of the amount of money claimed and evidence establishing the claimant’s right to the unclaimed funds, such as District utility account information, or a signed agreement obligating the funds
